Dr. Li Sha, Founder and CEO
Dr. Li Sha holds a PhD in Organizational Studies and a PhD minor in Sociology from Stanford University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Li Sha has many years of consulting and research experience in diverse sectors, particularly in education, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. She uses design thinking and cycle of inquiry to help organizations initiate, strategize, and implement institutional changes. Her clients include public school districts in the United States, Reform and Development Commission in China, national oil and gas corporations in China, and high education institutes in the United States. |
Dr. Daniel Armanios, Strategy, Chair of the Board of Advisors
Dr. Daniel Armnios is the BT Professor of Major Program Management at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He holds a PhD in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University. Daniel also holds two Master’s degrees in Management Research (MSc) and in Water Science, Policy and Management (MSc) from the University of Oxford, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.E) and in Political Science with an Economics Minor (B.A.) from the University of Pittsburgh. Daniel has many years of consulting and research experience in non-profit development, startup development, public policy, and non-market government strategy, which includes projects for NASA, NOAA, the UNOHCHR, and numerous non-profit and for-profit companies. His work has been published in numerous internationally recognized research and news outlets and led to numerous honors such as being named a Rhodes Scholar, Goldwater Scholar, and Truman Scholar. |
Meredith Williams, J.D., Academic Designer
Meredith holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French, magna cum laude, from Yale University. Meredith focuses her practices on protecting intellectual property rights, in particular trademark and copyright cease and desist efforts and enforcement litigation. She also has represented health care providers in payor disputes, successfully procuring appropriate reimbursement from health plans under contractual rates in view of California law and federal Medicare guidelines. Meredith is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and chair of the Social Committee for Young Lawyer's Division. She was Editor-in-Chief of Stanford Journal of Law, Business, and Finance, and she received the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Civil Procedure. |
Dr. Dong Di, Business Designer
Dr. Dong has a PhD in Health Economics from the Duke-National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School. One area of her expertise is to conduct program evaluations and policy research for the public sector. She has conducted health policy studies in China and Singapore, in collaboration with China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, China State Council Development Research Center, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Singapore Health Sciences Authority. She also has expertise in performing economic evaluations and market research for the healthcare industry to design market access strategies. Dr. Dong also has passion for teaching and mentoring. She worked as a mentor for 4 years in the Special Program in Science at the National University of Singapore to coach college student-initiated research, and was the assistant instructor for master-level courses on health economics and financing. |
Dr. Nan Zhou, Academic Designer
Dr. Nan Zhou holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Sup de Co in Montpelier, France, a Bachelor of Economics in Finance and a Bachelor of Law from Sichuan University. She obtained her masters in Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, after which she began work as a research manager at the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) in Washington D.C. During her tenure at ADEA, she worked closely with deans and other admission committee members from dental schools in the U.S. and Canada. She later moved on to begin a PhD program in Education Policy at the Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California . She is also concurrently pursuing a Master in Economics at USC. |
Dr. Tianjian Lu, Academic Designer Dr. Tianjian Lu is a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He received the B.E. degree with first class honors in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2010 and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. His research interests include multiphysics modeling and simulation in the design of modern integrated circuits, signal and power integrity, electromagnetic theory and its applications, numerical methods, and parallel computing. He is the recipient of the best paper award on ACES’15. He had two internships with the Silicon Engineering Group in Apple Inc., Cupertino, California, in 2013 and 2014, respectively. |
Constance Sun, Business Designer
Based in Singapore, Constance has extensive experience in strategic business development and account management across various industries. She was the Regional Business Development Manager for The Forum Corporation, a global leader in providing research-based tailored learning solutions in the areas of Leadership Development, Sales and Service. Prior to that, she was the regional Key Account Manager for a German direct marketing leader specialized in data management and digital marketing technology. Her main focus in both roles was building excellent relationship with clients, partners and prospects for strategic business development and develop the market as sustainable revenue stream for the region. She graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science, major in Mathematics, minor in Statistics. |
